Image Compressor + WebP Converter
Compress or convert photos and graphics to JPG, PNG or WebP. Images are processed on your device with the browser’s canvas, so they are never uploaded.
How to use it
- Add up to 10 images (JPG, PNG or WebP, each up to 20 MB).
- Pick an output format and a quality level. Lower quality gives a smaller file.
- Optionally set a maximum width to scale large photos down.
- Press Compress, then download each image.
Limitations
- PNG output is lossless, so quality does not change PNG size. Use JPG or WebP for bigger savings.
- Re-compressing an already compressed JPG can lower quality and sometimes makes the file larger.
- Transparent areas become white when you choose JPG.
- Metadata such as EXIF data is removed. Animated GIFs are not supported.
Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. Compression runs locally in your browser.
Can I convert an image to WebP?
Yes. Choose WebP as the output format, then compress and download the converted image.
Which quality should I use?
For web photos, 70–85% is a common balance between size and looks. Check the file size before you download.
Why is my result bigger than the original?
The original may already be well compressed. Try a lower quality, a smaller maximum width or WebP.
