Limitations

• Keep strong contrast: a dark code on a light background scans best. The tool warns if contrast is low.
• Long text makes a denser code that is harder to scan. The limit here is 1,000 characters.
• Always test the code with a real phone before printing.

Frequently asked questions

Do these QR codes expire?

No. The data is stored inside the image itself, not on a server.

What is error correction?

It lets a code still scan when part of it is dirty or covered. Higher levels make the code denser.

Is my text uploaded?

No. The QR code is drawn in your browser.
