Limitations
- Browser privacy protections may hide or reduce details. Exact device model, installed RAM, total/free disk space, operating system version and MAC address are not available to ordinary web pages.
- The RAM value and website storage quota are approximate browser reports; storage quota is for this website and is not the free space on the whole drive.
- The optional public IP lookup sends a request to ipify.org, which can see the public IP address. The request is only made when the visitor presses its button.
- Processor count and device memory are coarse browser estimates; connection speed and latency are optional rough network hints, not a speed test.

Does this work on phones, tablets and computers?
Yes. It reads the browser information available on the device where the page is open.
Can it show RAM and storage?
It may show an approximate RAM estimate and the browser storage quota used by this website. It cannot read exact installed RAM or total/free device storage; check your operating system settings for those.
Can it show my MAC address or local IP?
No. Browsers do not expose MAC addresses or local network IP addresses to ordinary websites.
How does the public IP lookup work?
It is optional. Pressing the button sends a request to ipify.org, which can see your public IP address.
Is system information sent to ToolNest?
No. The checker reads browser APIs locally. A public IP is requested from ipify.org only if you choose that lookup.
